History

As Koxinga travelled to Taiwan, Koxinga brought a statue of the Great Emperor Baosheng in hopes of a safe trip. When Koxinga and his crew members arrived at Taiwan, they left it at Wu family’s place; however, after a chain of paranormal events, local people started to pray to this statue. After a while, people decided to build a temple for this Great Emperor Baosheng.
Built in the period of
koxinga, Ren-Show Temple originally was used to pray towards the Great Emperor Baosheng; however, other statues started to be placed in the temple for the people. These gods included: Marshal of the Central Altar, Earth God, Wu Fortuna, Birth Goddess, Tiger God, Wenchang Monarch, Doo Basking Goddess, Left and Right Custodian, sixty Year Duty Gods, and much more.
